ani Ratnam totally failed to impress the audience back home with his latest flick ‘Kadal/Kadali’. The recently released movie was the greatest box-office bomb and the distributors incurred heavy losses. Therefore, the worried distributors forced their way into Mani’s residence in Chennai on Saturday to recoup their losses.
The
film released amid high expectations has not fared well. Stating that
they lost heavily, buyers staged a demonstration at the residence of
Mani Ratnam in Greenways road in Adayar. They demanded that they be
compensated.
Police rushed to the spot and provided security to the director. After sending the attackers from the spot the police ensured safety and security to Maniratnam’s family members and his residence.
