Kerala : Kerala govt which is
facing high shortages in power is turned up to give special offers to
consumers in saving and is trying to reduce the consumption. AP just
knows power cuts when there is a shortage seen in supply. But, Kerala is
searching for innovative ways to overcome the issue. Even Kerala is
similarly suffering with shortage.
Kerala Govt has announced to
provide 50% discount in consumption charges if a consumer reduces the
consumption by 10% compared to his previous month's consumption Also if
all consumers in a feeder uses lesser power for a week, they will
be exempted from power cuts next week.
In our state, whenever there
is a shortage seen either power is purchased from the neighbouring
states or burden will be pushed on to the consumer's heads. This has
caused even the middle class people to be paying high power charges. Our
leaders should think of innovative ideas towards a solution like what
Kerala state is doing
