Ace choreographer turned filmmaker, Prabhu Deva, made his directorial debut in Bollywood with the Salman Khan blockbuster – ‘Wanted’ which gave him wide acceptance as an ace director in the industry. Prabhu Deva has moved far ahead by churning out hit movies like Rowdy Rathore and he feels that this recognition was all due to Boney Kapoor who convinced him to get into Bollywood. He said, “I think I am in Bollywood because of Boney sir. He was the one who was keen on making ‘Wanted’. So I owe a big thank you to him.” Prabhu Deva was (and is) already a well known director-choreographer down south for many years.
