Superstar Mahesh Babu’s name is more like a brand in Tollywood. His
films draw huge openings and set new Tollywood records film after film
as far as the trade is concerned.
The actor is riding high on the stupendous success of ‘Dookudu’,
‘Businessman’ and ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. Apparently,
Mahesh is showing lot of versatility in script selection and is coming
up with crazy combinations. However, future doesn't seem to be bright
for the actor when it comes to working with Bollywood heroines.
Mahesh's
earlier Rajakumarudu (Preethi Zinta), Vamsi (Namrata Shirodkar),
Takkari Donga (Lisa Ray, Bipasha Basu), Nani (Ameesha Patel), and
Athidhi (Amrita Rao) have Bollywood heroines and they have tanked at box
office. And now with Sonakshi Sinha playing the female lead in
‘Shivam’, Kriti Sanon (model) in Sukumar's film and Sonam Kapoor
(likely) in Sreneu Vaitla's film, fans of the actor are scared on what
could be the fate of the film.
Other side, Sonakshi Sinha has proved to be a lucky charm for her
Bollywood heroes and her films speak it all. She has only one flop to
her credit and compared to Mahesh’s past heroines her success rate is
very high. Who knows Sonkashi can emerge as a winner in Tollywood with
this film and breaks Mahesh's bollywood heroine jinx?
