A hotshot fashion and wildlife photographer Vikram (Randeep Hooda) gets into a relationship with a waitress from a lounge, Nisha (Sara Loren). She moves in with him in his palatial house outside of the city. The old world house, made decades ago is as beautiful as scary it is. It holds many secrets, which Nisha is soon to unearth; of the life of the man who made it and of Vikram, who is dealing with the mysterious disappearance of his former girlfriend Roshni (Aditi Rao).

Performances in this film are ho-hum. Randeep Hooda is completely at ease and has shown complete authority over his expressions. Sara Loren has done a neat job. She looks cute. Aditi Rao impresses in certain scenes and looks good in a few frames. If a film is titled MURDER 3 either there has to be a Murder in it or a Suspicion of one. But Vishesh Bhatt’s Debut film, Murder 3 is the OFFICIAL remake of The Hidden Face, which wasn’t worth remaking. Screenplay (Mahesh Bhatt and Amit Masurkar) of the film is bizarre. Dialogues of the film are so so. Murder 3 takes half of its time to establish things, later leaves the rest to a silly twist in the end. Must say there are some promising Spooky stuff like strange sounds from the wash basin and bath shower scalding hot. But not a single goosebump-ish moment. The direction of the film is bad except for some scenes in the middle. Editing of the film leaves a lot to be desired. Music of this film is average. Cinematography by Sunil Patel is okay.

First half of the film is boring and the second half is slightly better than first half. The major drawbacks of the movie are bad script and direction. This film does not offer anything but for a couple of well picturized songs & scenes. The film would have been a decent thriller if the director and the scriptwriter had stuck to the original.
