Edison an NGO is celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai in the first week of May.
Big stars like super star Rajinikanth, Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachan, Mammooty,Mohan Lal, Mega star turned politician cum Union Minister for Tourism Chiranjeevi and actor-producer-director Kamal Hassan will attend the celebrations.
During the three day celebrations there will be screening of the best movies in all Indian languages.  ‘Keechaka Vadha’ which is a mookie film released in Tamil in1901 and after full pledged mookie movie ‘Sribandalik’   released in Marathi in 1903, ‘Kalidas’ in  number of languages released in 1931 and after 7months first Talkie film ‘Alam Araa’ was released.
